The Cover Letter is not intended as a self-contained document – it will always be accompanied by a Resume.
Here are some Cover Letter samples, depending on the way you learned about the position:
a) Ad published in a newspaper/publication or online:
"After reading the ad published by your company in .... of ....
I decided to submit to your attention the description of my studies, as well as my professional activity.
I consider this an excellent opportunity to join your team."
b) Spontaneous application – if you want a job in a company and you do not know if they have jobs available:
“I know that your company is famous in this field and that it ensures excellent opportunities for career development.
I’m writing to you hoping that I can offer you my knowledge in order to contribute to the success of your team.
I’m interested in finding a position of....
I assure you that I am a motivated, determined person, willing to succeed.
I’m also an enthusiastic, dynamic person in continuous substantiation of the knowledge acquired.
I would like to have the chance to discuss more details about my experience during an interview.
Please contact me on my phone to establish an interview at a convenient hour”.
Mention: if the cover letter will be well conceived you will convince the employer to read your RESUME as well.
